Phantom Academy of High-Speed Imaging

Technical Education

Vision Research's Phantom Academy offers hands-on technical courses and web-based application specific courses, designed to prepare attendees for advanced high-speed imaging applications. Courses are taught by Vision Research engineers and invited industry experts. Coursework is focused on key technical concepts, field examples, the use of cutting-edge equipment, and is taught by experienced application engineers.

Depending on the application and the information being delivered courses will be taught by a variety of professional users, developers, partners, and high-speed imaging experts. Each instructor will work to deliver the information necessary for a participant to recreate successful experiments in the future. 

Web-Based Phantom Academy Short Courses

The Phantom Academy web-based short courses cover both basic PCC use and advanced application-specific topics. These courses are not meant to replace the hands-on on learning of the on-site courses but instead offer Phantom operators the opportunity to enhance their technical knowledge through virtual means. A live on-screen demo will be given during the course.

In-Person Short Courses

We are currently offering a small selection of in-person short courses at our Wayne, NJ facility. All recommended social distancing practices are being followed.

Long Duration Intensive On-Site Hands-On Courses

On-site courses will have each user setting up an actual experiment, collecting and analyzing data from a high-speed event, then disseminating their findings to the class.
