The Universidad de la República’s (UDELAR) (http://www.universidad.edu.uy/directorio/serviceMoreInfo/serviceId/36) studies in arthropod behavior has recently been aided through the acquisition of a Phantom Miro LAB110. Attending 85% of university students in the country of Uruguay, the university has granted the Laboratory of Entomology the camera to address environmental planning, management, and ecology as well as other Eastern Regional University Center (CURE) areas of focus. By allowing students to take an active role in biological research and interact with advanced technology, they will be able to get hands-on experience that will lead them throughout their professional lives.
