A group of researchers from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) carried out a series of experiments using the Lagrangian Particle Tracking (LPT) method Shake The Box (STB) to observe aerodynamic, elastic and inertial forces on a flexible wing. Eight synchronized 4-Megapixel Phantom cameras were used to fully characterize the large volume.
