With the help of Phantom high-speed cameras, researchers at the University of South Florida (USF) worked to study the movement/swimming patterns of planktonic sea butterflies as well as their uncanny resemblance to insect flight. With the use of Phantom cameras, the University's lab was able to expand their goal of exploring fluid mechanics in the context of biology, ecology, and the environment with the imaging of Limacina helicina - a species of small, swimming sea snails.
