Phantom v1840

4Mpx camera provides unparalleled image quality at 18Gpx/sec

  • 4,510 fps at full resolution of 2048 x 1952, 8,570 fps at 1920 x 1080
  • Exceptional image quality, with Dynamic Range of 64 dB and Noise level of 7.2 e-
  • Superb Sensitivity, with ISO Monochrome 16,000D; Color 3,200D
  • 142ns minimum exposure with the FAST option
  • 10Gb Ethernet standard

The Phantom v1840 offers unmatched versatility with 18Gpx/sec throughput, uncompromising image quality and 5 operating modes for flexibility. As an Ultrahigh-Speed 4Mpx camera, it offers the same outstanding image characteristics as the v2640.

Exceptional Image quality:
The cleanest, most detailed image results from very low read out noise and very high dynamic range. Both the v1840 and v2640 have both the lowest noise floor of any Phantom camera at 7.2e-, and the highest dynamic range of any Phantom Global shutter camera at 64 dB.

Exceptional Speed:
With 18Gpx/sec, the v1840 offers 4,510 frames per second (fps) at full 4Mpx resolution and 8,570 fps at 1920 x 1080.

Exceptional Sensitivity:
The v1840 and v2640 are the most sensitive cameras in their class.  They not only have ISO measurements of 16,000D (monochrome) and 3,200D (color), but 25,000D (monochrome) in Binned modes. 25,000D is equivalent to the super sensitive Phantom UHS-12 Series!

Exceptional Flexibility:
Both the v1840 and the v2640 offer up to 5 operating modes, providing maximum flexibility.  Standard mode has Correlated Double Sampling, while High Speed (HS) mode provides up to 34% more throughput. Bright Field mode provides ultra-clean images in applications with bright backgrounds. Also, monochrome cameras have Binning modes for more throughput and sensitivity.

Built on Proven UHS Platform:
The v1840 and v2640 have the same Ease-of-Use features as the other cameras of the proven Phantom Ultrahigh-Speed line. Plus, they have Programmable I/O for specific application requirements.
